Same here dude. They usually drive at 40 kph in the fast lane. And they don't know how to turn (as very descriptively shown in the diagram) and they hit people they should n't And they don't pay for the damages and when they do they do after making such a bambi face that you don't want to take their money (Just their phone number) And... And... And....
Ok, so i can't run you over...BUT i can still throw stones!
And crashing a car is NOT a sign of driving well! YOUR gender crashes cuz they daydream; we actually focus on the road, rather than the female driver on the left, right, front or opposite street.
Oh, not to mention the bichari college girls waiting at the bus stop. hmmph.
I can't understand that diagram :S anyway its true that women drivers crash cars way less but two things contribute to that, one there are very less women drivers as opposed to men drivers and other is women drivers drive slow and carefully, i don't have come across many women drivers it usually the scooter waley that bug me :@
Oh now I've seen everything! Saffi arguing with a girl over who drives worse? :P Both of you - let me tell you one general trend - most accidents on the road involve either women, or darhi-walay-hazraat - or both, which can get pretty interesting sometimes :P...
@ Saadat (Gives withering look) @Saffi We drive fine- infact the women i know drive much better than the men. Men have this absurd need to drive the car into any pothole they can find. @Absar The incidents that involve both is where the darhi wala guy is staring so hard at the woman he forgets to focus on the road. @KW THanks for the support. We need all the stone throwers we can get. And maybe YOU can be the one to run over Saffi.
Waise come on! If you take majority against majority, then men are definitely better drivers than women - this shouldn't even be a debate :P (I can't believe I'm siding with Saffi on something)
My sister has rammed a car into a parked bus. Her achievements also include running into a footpath, and almost running over a poor motorcyclist before insulting his road sense :P I like to think she represents all women :P
A friends mom drives her suicide alto around town, and I'm guessing most of her trips are between workshops :P Oh, and she also can't make a U-turn without taking the car into reverse once :P
Saad, are you talking about roundabouts? Despite their name and structure, the most they make is a C. True, one can drive around them to make an O, but I like it better the way Hira does it. :D
yeah i am talking about roundabouts i sometimes drive around them to make an O when i forget where i want to go so until i don't remember where to go i keep going round and round :P its fun!
@Saadat ONCE!!! I made a turning like this once!!I can turn properly now! @Absar Blecht. That's all i have to say. @Saad I'm sure it is. I remember Homer Simpson going through a scenario like the one you mention, except he ended up in Buckingham Palace somehow...
@Absar Und es kommt mit einem snort; ausdrucksstark squared! (By the way thanks for telling me about google translate. now i'll send people hate mail in algerian)
@majaz: LOL! So, did you? :P There was this classmate of mine, who used to go about the same way with guys. In fact, agar uska bas chalta, to woh ulta taang ke baalo mein aag bhi laga deti ;)
I'm with sawj and safiullah, women drivers should have some sign. I can write a book about incidents involving women drivers at fault and then making themselves look like victims :D
@karachiwali: men are better cooks, its jst that they dnt cook :P
@easypie haha! I'd love being called pendu. Sure beats being 'too english'. And YES bhaee!! i can drive now!! @Absar Depends.ARE you hideous and flirtatious? Because comments only reflect what you ARE, they don't MAKE you what you are...(this will be the title of deepak chopra's new book) @Anas And i can write an epic masterpiece in 17 volumes about the times men drivers are at fault and then cause fist fights which culminate into hour long traffic jams, and yet still blame women :P
women are better drivers, its just that most don't drive :P
My whole family was going to a picnic last year. Only my uncle knew the route so we were all following him. We had three cars, he was driving one, my Aunt and I were the other drivers.
So we came to this U-turn and somehow we ended up in the pattern that my uncle got stuck in traffic way behind us in the first lane (lane next to the turn/fastest lane) but my Aunt reached the U-turn in the second lane with me right behind her.
Confused whether she had to turn or not, she just stood there, blocking the whole damn road for ten minutes with all the drivers honking madly behind her and me laughing my head off!
So do men do any of these things? I'm not talking about uneducated men like pathan bus drivers. I'm talking about those who are equally educated.
Correction: Comments only show what you want to show people ;) So it doesn't really matter what it looks like from my comment, because I might want people to think that I'm hideously flirtatious when I may just be a (fairly) normal person. Though I can't imagine a single, even close-to-sane reason why I'd want to do that. And just in case Deepak Chopra is reading this, I'll put my Copyright stamp right here ;)
Still, I hold with my opinion - percentage for percentage, men are better drivers than women. I don't care if I get run over by a lady by sheer bad luck tonight, or if I have to eat a nauseating meal at the hands of my close, female relatives... men are better drivers! :P
@Hira: And they manage to do it without any O turns or hitting other cars! :P
And men only go against the traffic. Women can go against anything be it traffic, a stationary car, tree, building or an electricity pole.
My dad's friend's daughter, while turning her car around, managed to ram it into the back of a stationary car so hard that it slipped and crashed into the car on the other side. Men don't do that! :P
i cant stand open-ended stories...n this blog was heading the same way...so i have come for its rescue....when i opened my hotmail account a lil while ago, i came across this article..its written by a MALE...n apparently contains some statistical evidence to prove that women are better drivers than men...funny aint? u ppl were not even willing to consider us ur equals....we turned out to be superior..ha http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=788126

Okay okay, just kidding! :P

I could go on and on and on....
haw haw. tum log tau paedaeshi drivers ho na.
And men crash cars way way waaay more than women do!
Men are stupid. Throw rocks at them.
Or run em over! bwahaha!
Yes. Put your driving to good use.
Women drive so slow that even if they wanted to hit something they just stop hen they enter the boundary perimeter of the object.
And we crash more cuz we actually drive the car, not day dream in them.
And you could n't run over ME even if you wanted to and learned actually how to drive!
Hehe, and yes e are pedaishi drivers, we start playing with cars as soon as e can close our fist aound something.
Men are also deluded. Throw rocks at them.
Ok, so i can't run you over...BUT i can still throw stones!

Ok that we do, but we don't crash into them.
Women drivers shuld have a sign on the car, "beware! woman driving, Can hit anything in a two mile radius!"
Oh, comon admit it women don't know the first thing about cars or driving! and you know that, you just won't admit to it.
lol i love mahwash's comments here...im with you on this ;)

I am sending a recommendation for introducing an "O-turn". We need harmless entertainment on roads.
@ Saadat

@saadat we already have O-turns here remember those chowrangis?
*grins at Hira*

Oh,and Marge is SOOO A better driver than Homer!
@ Absar
now cuz chef zakir is a better chef than most of the women in pakistan, would all men do the cooking at home?
@Hira: LOL! Sehr ausdrucksstark, ich muss sagen! (Google Translate is a wonder!)
@KW: Okay okay, calm down, it was just a joke :P No need to get to cooking ;)
@Absar
Und es kommt mit einem snort; ausdrucksstark squared!
(By the way thanks for telling me about google translate. now i'll send people hate mail in algerian)
@KW
you hit him where it hurts. good job girl!
Oooh battle of the sexes.
I'm firing up the guns.
You mere males should duck for cover. Mere baaray main kaha jaata hai: "inka bas chaley toh saray kunwaarey larkon ko ulta taang den."
That was uttered by the most hideously flirtatious guy I work with.
hideous AND flirtatious?!that's the worst combination ever...
@majaz: LOL! So, did you? :P
There was this classmate of mine, who used to go about the same way with guys. In fact, agar uska bas chalta, to woh ulta taang ke baalo mein aag bhi laga deti ;)
Uh, did my last comment just make me hideously flirtatious? :/
Congratulations.

@karachiwali: men are better cooks, its jst that they dnt cook :P
My question being," can you drive?"
the word i had to copy before posting this was "pendu" i found that quite funny.
@easypie
haha! I'd love being called pendu. Sure beats being 'too english'.
And YES bhaee!! i can drive now!!
@Absar

Yeah they do. My taya has crashed into a tree and my brother into a telegraph khamba.
And DON'T say bad driving is a family thing because my mother is an awesome driver!
Had your car been long and flexible enough you would've made the impossible possible by crashing into yourself! [Refer to drawing above]
Will race your Mom sometime! :D
How pointless!
Hira, congrats on learning how to operate a vehicle. I for one am proud of you. Well done.
@Beknighted
*blushes* thanks! I'm glad someone is.
SAWJ
My mum will totally beat you.
and yeah...that would have been so cool :D Scientists should invent a gumby car!
Don't underestimate me! ;)
you can outrace my mother, or invent a gumby car?
Outrace. What's her top speed?
http://www.ridelust.com/road-rage-101-tips-to-piss-off-other-drivers/
i dont care who's a better driver...wat worries me more is who's a better pedestrian! :P have u seen the way people (read women) cross the road?
Haha yeah, another reason why I believe women should be banned from all roads! :P
your brother crashed into a TELEGRAPH pole? we still have those?! i might be wrong but werent those used for transmitting messages in Morse?
did i write telegraph? i meant telephone.
sigh. ek aur line of controversy shuru ho jaye gi ab.
KARACHIWALI YOU'RE A WOMAN!!!Don't diss our gender!!!
I know two people who have backed up into telephone poles over here.
I got failed in my first road assessment test because I was too 'slow' changing lanes. And I absolutely hate round-a-bouts. :(((
Anyway, I would have to say though, Women are SAFE and Careful drivers. My Sister drives awesomely mashallah.
i like how the car is pink!! hahaha very cute.
